A few mental sackings following that of Duff earlier and Heckingbottom to a lesser degree. Must be a clearing of the slates, before the busy festive period and January window.

They are a very strange bunch them lot up the road.
Glad they are no longer connected with him. He's a legend, here on Teesside and it was always horrible to see him in their dugout.

Think this will bite them on the bum.
Not supported by their board at all - no striker for the last 18m or so since Ross Stewart got knacked/sold.
Think the current zeitgeist for 'flowing/open football' really suited the way he's always wanted the game to be played.
(didn't always work out for him - but always aimed to play positive football IMHO)
