More trouble for Derby

I think Gibson should drop our claim, last thing we want is to be known as the ones who closed another club down
 
Real shame we didn’t go for Jagielka, he isn’t good enough to sit on our bench but the reaction alone would be worth any amount of money
 
sure I know but the issues today with the EFL seem to be down to ours and wycombes claims
 
You can see why the administrator's can't progress the sales, especially with our claim of 45 million and Wycombe's of 6 million. The football creditors rule means any substantive football claims have to be paid in full. There is no way a prospective buyer will take on the potential liability of 51 million, which would be money down the drain. No doubt we would accept less (maybe 5 million), but I can see the administrators wanting to cram it down to a couple of hundred grand at most. Not sure how this is going to play out, but hopefully not with Derby going bust. I don't think anyone wishes to see that!
 
Do they have anyone worth getting on the cheap? Plenty of young players have been playing.

It would be worth the outrage of signing one for half of what they are worth😂

they just need to accept accountability for what they did, agree a payment over a number of years, sign up to it, and then Mike Ashley can buy them. I don't want them to go out of business, but at the same time, Ashley or anyone else shouldn't buy them at a knock down price and wipe away debts they owe

agreed, acompromise should be agreed 5mill for us 2 for wycombe, add as a cost of the sale and taken out of Morris's sale of the club
