If they want him as bad as it appears then £15m.

They‘re trying to unsettle one of our contracted players who we took a gamble on just a few months ago, that has to be worth a premium alone.

Plus they are trying to ‘done deal’ it before any other club knows he is available.

Lets see how much this Emery character really wants him.

There was a post on the boro breakdown page claiming we want £10m for him. How or if boro breakdown know is anyone's guess 🤷‍♂️

We attract young talent with the promise that if they perform and the right offer comes in we will let them fly, this has come quickly for Rogers but the moment we break the promise is the moment the talent stops coming

6.5 million plus add ons tops, and that is acceptable.
What does that even mean.

So the talent will stop coming because we won’t let them leave for peanuts.

Then good

Not peanuts, a reasonable offer for the talent to leave, this obviously open to interpretation but we need to accept we are as things stand a top class stepping stone, and as hard as it is we need to accept that until we make a jump into the PL and make it stick

I'll bite ..
There's are huge differences between " the right offer ", a " reasonable offer ".. and 6.5 million ( minus 20% min sell on clause.) Three days before our biggest game since the Norwich playoff final.

Your literally in the 1% who thinks in such a manner.

There’s too many on here quoting ridiculous figures. 15 mill ffs!! Get real! Just cannot see it for a guy with 6 months game time. He’s only been starting for us due to an injury crisis.

I’ve not run a poll, but there is one on this thread that might contradict your 1% claim

Anyway that is not my point, we need to be able to bring in top young talent and that talent isn’t thinking that Boro is their end game. I wish it was but until we are back to 2005/2006 highs we are not in that league. We will bring in the right players at this level in the same way Brighton bring in players at their level by selling them the story also their development potential and by living by it. Most envy Brighton, but they (Brighton) also accept the reality, they sell to keep progressing and survive it’s no different for us, just read our accounts

12.5m ..2.5m goes to city i think. 10 million fou us....8m profit in 6months is good going. Maybe stick a clause in of another 2.5m if he plays for england.

According to who have we made this “promise”?

£6.5m isn’t even close to acceptable.

I said 6.5mil plus add ons, but that is my opinion. The club will decide what is acceptable. A lower starting price and higher add ons may lead to more total returns. I assume you would welcome that? (In reply to Jonathan - I didn’t hit the reply button….. ooops)
