Finishing off walking through the avenue of trees, what a lovely sight, imagine the scene back in time approaching the gates on horseback straight to Acklam hall

My exercise today has been sit-ups, press-ups and other stuff like that on the terrace. Plus doing 25 goes up and down the 20 steps I am allowed to walk/run up and down off our terrace. The steps go down to a communal area that leads on to a small garden and the closed pool. We have permission from our neighbour who shares the stairs with us - plus approval from the urbanisation where I live. As normally you cannot use any general shared facilities of an apartment block for exercise.

Too fit for me spanishman, one walk a day then cabined up in the house, garden

We used to do well over 20,000 steps a day 2-3 and sometimes 4 times a week. On days we played golf. So we averaged well over 10,000 steps a day.

That feels like a long time ago. It was just around a month ago now.

I am not doing my daily 10,000 steps now. We live in a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment. So have no indoor steps to use to go up and down. Plus I do not fancy walking around the apartment to get steps.

I am slowly trying to do more aerobic exercise every day instead. Including adding another 200 steps on the outdoor stairs each day (5 times up and down).
