Kids grow out of their shoes so quickly. Michael Carrick Foundation and MFC Foundation are joining forces to appeal for any unwanted football boots and trainers - they will pass them on to very grateful new players hampered without suitable footwear.

Look out for the collection behind the North Stand - next to the white van for the Middlesbrough Foodbank Collection from Middlesbrough Supporters Forum and Middlesbrough Foodbank.

MSF Big Collection for Middlesbrough Foodbank & Carrick’s boot room - Boro vs Swansea
MIDDLESBROUGH SUPPORTERS FORUM IS ASKING GENEROUS BORO FANS TO TAKE A DONATION FOR MIDDLESBROUGH FOODBANK AND THE CARRICK BOOT ROOM TO THE HOME GAME AGAINST SWANSEA CITY ON SATURDAY APRIL 6.

With the support of Middlesbrough Football Club, the Forum has once again arranged a donation point close to the North Stand turnstiles.

This is a great opportunity for the fans to give non-perishable food items or monetary donations.

We’ve had very successful collection there in the past and hope to raise much needed food and funds to support people in the local community who find themselves in crisis. Our van will be there from 12noon.

We will also teaming up once again with MFC Foundation and The Michael Carrick Foundation to collect football boots and Boro shirts. Please bring them along to our collection point.
 
A reminder about Saturday's Big Collection.
If you have any spare football boots, trainers etc or spare Boro or sports shirts.

And we are looking for food and money donations for Middlesbrough Foodbank.
 
Don't forget tomorrow - a big collection for those struggling for food, football boots and even sports shirts.
 
Please don't forget the appeal. A pound in the bucket and/or a pair of unwanted football boots would go down a treat.
