My latest Victor Meldew moment

Went to front room to have sit down with a beer & read a book.

Didn't have reading glasses on me, so went to kitchen to get a pair.

Went back, couldn't find book, had left it in kitchen.

Went back to kitchen, got book, back to front room, couldn't find glasses.

Found glasses, but in doing so knocked beer over book.

Got up sharply, dropped glasses and they broke

I am sure this would not have happened if I was 30 years younger.

At least you knew why you’d walked into any of the rooms in the first place, these days I see that as a bonus.

This is true. Forgot to say I pulled a muscle in my back searching for the glasses

You go upstairs to get something and a few minutes later you find yourself back in the front room, in your pajamas, having forgotten what you were looking for, and it's only 7 pm!
