Naming of the stands

Just following on from my earlier post i would only consider naming one stand at the moment and that would be named after bruce rioch. It would be great to do it sooner rather than later whilst bruce is with us and fully compos mentis. Hes a very proud man and i think he would be really moved by such a gesture
 
I don’t think anyone, other than Camsell played long enough for us and achieved enough.

Mannion is a strong possible though.

Even Hardwick, loyal servant and England captain didn’t play that many games - WW2 being the problem.

Clough was brilliant but divisive, fell out with the club and went to Sunderland. Players like Juninho just weren’t here long enough.

Maddren was a one club man, but didn’t play that many games due to early retirement.

I can’t think of anyone beyond those players.

No one manager fits the bill either. Charlton is synonymous with Ireland, left us prematurely and managed other sides. Shepperson is more worthy.

We don’t have that rich a history.
 
With this 'Stack' thing coming to Midldesbrough.. wouldn't it have been better near to the stadium.. and with some footballer themed eateries and attractions?
