Those responsible should be punished and have their membership of the party withdrawn as any form of racism is not acceptable, I think the vast majority of Labour voters and members would agree.
However a small minority holding abhorrent views does not equate to anti-Semitic policy as a party norm, nasty people within a party is a very different thing from nasty policies that are at the core of some political institutions.
