Nations League Finals

Lloris pulled off a wonderful save earlier to deny De Bruyne, but has been atrocious for both Belgium's goals. Really should have done better.

Don't care about the cynicism around the Nations League, this was a great match.

Got to laugh at Belgium, or maybe feel bad for them.

4th tournament failure in a row since they became the number 1 ranked team in the world, and they'll still somehow be ranked number 1 after this.

Maybe that ranking has been a hindrance. It shouldn't really as it's only real value is in seeding for competition, but it's certainly put huge pressure on them to win trophies. And they have, to be fair to them, with the exception of Wales, been beaten every time by teams that you'd probably expect them to be beaten by - Italy, Argentina and France twice.

Aye, I've got nothing against Belgium they're a good team, I just find the ranking system daft and can't help but call it out when they've stayed in that position despite multiple teams repeatedly going further than them over the years.

The French showed how they can go from awful to sublime and back again. They still have an unbelievable group of players and when they get it right are the best International side.

The Nations League has been a great move for International football too.
