We played well today and should have won.
Just unlucky - great performance by their keeper.
But our infamous ability not to win the first game under a new gaffer has struck again.

I haven't got the stats in front of me but isn't this typical of us?

My personal favorite was a 0-1 home defeat by Plymouth in Strachan's first match in charge.

With the likes of McClaren and some others though, this was in no way indicative of what the future under them would bring.

With Strachan it was a chilling prophecy.
 
I think the 'bounce' comes from a change in manager who was roundly unpopular - NW obviously wasn't.

I actually didn't expect a huge change today, or for a couple of games; firstly because I think fitness isn't where CW needs it to be for his style of football, and secondly because that style is hugely different to NW's.

Having said all that i thought there was some glimpses first half of what we can expect and it looked good. We tired second half though, which probably points to out fitness needing to be better.
 
I went a new manager bounce bet...

Villa / Norwich/ Boro and the mags.

2 out of 4.... I would have got £473😕

The worrying thing is this 2nd half issue we have. We would be 3rd if games were 45mins. That's a pretty damming stat. No excuse not to be 'fit' in the 2nd week of November.
