I can't truly respect a footballer that throws themselves about and play acts as much as Neymar. I watched him a lot when he played for Barca, he could be a really good player if he rains in the dishonestyAbsolutely love him - world class quality. Yes, he's behaved questionably on the pitch at times but his job description is "footballer" and very few in the world can match him on those terms.
I also like who he's brought out the technician in Mbappe. When he first broke through at Monaco he was all about pace and power (which are still massive attributes) but his technique has improved massively, no doubt inspired by Neymar's brilliance.
I think a few sunday league players will be unhappy with that comparison.World class talent with a Sunday league attitude.
That's the best description of a footballer since the Emmerson: "strength of a carthorse, speed of a racehorse, brains of a rocking horse" oneGreat talent made of wet noodles.
He shouldn't have left Barca.
I understand why he did, because if he stayed there, he'd forever be in Messi's shadow and he so badly wants to win the Ballon D'or.
He's a brilliant footballer, however, his antics and playacting certainly doesn't help him.
Can't stand him to be honest, despite his obvious talent.
Sport should be played in the right way, with honesty and dignity and he simply can't claim to do that. It's such a shame because he should be regarded as one of the best of his generation, but he's hard to warm to.
He also does very little of the defensive side of the game, mbappe the same, which means PSG aren't as solid as they could be.
