NFL week 16

Eagles get back on the winning trail with a comparatively easy win over the Giants. However the tasty game sees the Ravens at the Niners — both teams are at 11-3.

Niners losing at the half by 4 points which could have been a lot worse as Mr Irrelevant throws 3 interceptions in the first half. Purdy and McCaffrey seemed to get back on track with a TD midway through the 2nd quarter.

Ravens totally manhandled the Niners in the second half as Lamar Jackson staked his claim for league MVP with a near perfect performance.

Wanted to watch the 49ers game in 40 this morning but the awful DAZN service only gave me 6 min highlights.

Looked like Purdy had a stinker and the Ratbirds dominated and will be the No.1 seed in the AFC.

I expected that to be a good game, but I'm surprised to see the Ravens win so convincingly.

If Ravens do get the 1 seed, fair play to them: it's quite an achievement in a division where every team currently has a winning record.

The Ravens defence really did a number on Purdy. It could well be the team with the best defence that wins the Super Bowl as yesterday showed that the Chiefs struggled against an aggressive defence as did the Niners.

Missed PI call on the last play, if the refs had been calling the game fairly we'd have had a play on the 1 yard line to tie it up.

Considering it was the 2nd & 3rd choice qb, 2nd choice OL etc. it wasn't too bad / a little too close for comfort for draft position next year.

Here we go again

Err go jets ( I feel dirty just typing that )
Setting yourself up for some friendly abuse from Yearby, myself and all the Dawgs Jedi 😉

As it stands, I think the Super Bowl winners are coming from the AFC. You've got us, the Ravens and the Bills who look red hot. The Fins still need to prove themselves against winning teams and Mahomes is never ruled out.
There's only really the Niners and Eagles in the NFC that look capable and both ourselves and the Ravens have beaten the Niners already. Haven't really seen enough of the Lions to say they are looking good so I'll reserve judgement on them.

That first half last night was a crazy a performance I’ve ever seen from the Browns (and I’ve watched lot of mostly bad crazy over the years).

To get to the playoffs losing so many quality players and having a 38 year old, recently acquired QB playing like he has is just remarkable.

Getting to bed at 4:30 totally worth it.

It’s about time that city (and Detroit for that matter) had something good to shout about.
