My wife has been trying to find one for about 6 months. The nearest one was Bishop Auckland. Pretty much everyone is taking on private patients though. It's a disgrace.

I was at Eaglescliffe for 15 years and in 2021, after making an appointment in the June for the October, got a phone call 2 days prior explaining that there were no NHS dentists on site and was offered a private appointment for a reasonable fee. I re-arranged for 4 months later. When it came to the appointment, they told me as I had not been since before COVID (not my choice, theirs by the way), I had been removed from the NHS patient list. Absolutely shocking service.

There is a practice in Stockton on Bishopton Road (opposite Argos in the Town). I joined last November and had no issues.

the mydentists by the station ? they've been going dowhnhill for ages :-( ... the whole thing is just geared to pushing as many as possible private :-(

Yes it's that one as you say it's definitely pushing for all patients to go private. Thanks for the suggestions so far

We’ve gone to Linthorpe Rd Dental Practice and although it is private, you are not paying much more for your treatment and the service is first class.

None in Richmond since the only NHS one shut down years ago, only one practise does a small handful.
Its 3rd world and being Sunak's constituency you'd think he might make a bit of a effort.
Just another step to a privatised NHS.

I got signed up as a new patient at Family Dental Practice in Redcar earlier this year, last time I was in I heard someone else signing up as well.

At least he can't say nobody in his constuency has complained or raised it directly with him.

The whole thing is a shambles.

I've been registered with Avante Dental which is part of myDentist on Preston farm as a NHS patient for several years. I was promised call to arrange my normal 6 monthly inspection which never came. When I followed this up I was told that the NHS dentists had left but they would be pleased to offer me private treatment which I refused. I said that I wished to remain as a NHS patient and would be prepared to wait until they once again offered this service. Almost a year has passed now with no further contact apart from another invitation to go private with them.
