Nicola sturgeon

I cannot see her resigning, there's a big enough grey area for doubt, and the opposition isn't large enough to force her out.
Some of her own MSPs and the Greens would surely have to push her out, and I'm not sure they'd do that with an election coming.

Hopefully this really damages their electoral success either way.

I cannot disagree with any of that. But Boris has not been cornered in such a tight spot. One day he might well be.

The worrying thing is ... This could actually strengthen her, when they still absolutely walk the Scottish locals despite everything Sturgeon and the SNP have done the past 12 months.

She’ll just balls it out saying the committee is split and biased on political lines. She’ll get away with it despite being bang out of order. Clinging on will severely damage her party, but she won’t give a toss about that.

I am not convinced it will damage the party

Johnson does it all the time , but he has tge backing if the cult

Jam as someone who wouldn't ever vote Tory myself (infact right now I feel like no political party deserves my vote), why do you have to deflect to them on this issue. The thread title is 'Nicola Sturgeon'.

I first brought him into this discussion so may I respond to your question. I have no sympathy with Sturgeon and she may indeed have to walk but I find it interesting that her misdemeanours are no worse in my opinion to those of the current PM of this country and yet there is no media storm over his position. Its pertinent to make that point in this thread. Sorry you don’t.
