Ninja Air Fryer

Had a dual fryer for a while now and it's brilliant. I tend to only use the oven for a quick frozen pizza.

I would recommend getting some silicone trays that fit your fryer - much much easier to clean.

We've had it a while and we're still learning new things/meals/recipes etc.

Definitely worth the attention they're getting.

Don't the trays stop the air flow?

We have the 15 in 1 ninja eucharistic does a lot of other stuff as well Abbs then bought a double basket non-ninja air fryer which is great too.

My wife got me one for my birthday, why I don’t know. If you can cook quite well they’re rubbish in comparison, beyond being cheaper to use. Someone told me to try chips in then as apparently they’re delicious…..I’ve never tasted anything more depressing in my entire life.

Yes, the trays stop airflow. It depends what you are doing though whether that is good or bad. I use the trays if I'm cooking something that you would cook in a dish or if it has a sauce. If it's a mostly dry thing like chips that you want crispy then I wouldn't use a tray.

The air fryer basket is easy enough to clean anyway because it's all nonstick.

You’re not going to get Michelin star quality out of it but you will get good results if you have a half decent model and you bother learning to use it properly. That includes chips.

I haven't bought this, because I refuse to be caught up in consumerism nonsense. Instead I bought a robotic hoover. Surely a bargain at 35% off!? I'll send it back when I sober up tomorrow....

Ours ain’t a ninja branded one, and there are no additional shelves or racks with it, just a deep basket type. Am I ok just putting the rashers directly on the bottom of it, or do I need a shelf of some sort?

Just chuck them in along the basket

Presume it's non-stick like most air fryers

I turn it a couple of times but it cooks quite quickly

Bit the bullet and went for a Salter dual. If anyone has any useful guides/links to recipe collections they use I'm all ears. 👍

Bought a Ninja Smoker and I have to say it's amazing!!

Yes the hopper looks small but it will give you enough smoke for 5 hours.

You can slow smoke or add a burst of smoke when air frying, grilling or roasting.

Chicken wings and belly pork come out lovely and moist and you can get cheaper pellets online.

I slow smoked a chicken with pecan pellets yesterday and it was lovely.
