No Grealish again!

Come back to bite him now, penalty decision was pathetic but a poor unimaginative team selection again. It was like he was playing for a draw.
 
What is it with the Grealish love in!!

At best he's an average player. The Liverpool scout summed him up the best - Grealish offers nothing on or off the field.
 
The boys will be on shortly to explain why Southgate is the best manager since Alf.

It's ok the creativity will now come from Walker at left back and Reece James at right back...

That said we look better with 10 than 11, progress.

A few years ago I would of agreed with you, I thought he was all hype but the last couple of seasons he’s developed into an exceptional player.
 
Grealish has turned my opinion around. I hated him for a few years (for no apparent reason other than going to ground and way too tight kit😂). Also just thought he was over rated despite not seeing him weekly.

He's turned into a very good player over the last 2 years. I also salute him for penning a new deal at his club (probably because he was priced out of a move after covid). I'm sure plenty of 'bigger' clubs either they had bought him 2 years ago as now 60-80mil.

He should walk into this current England side. It doesn't have one once of creativity.

Block21 - I think we need to agree to disagree on this. I would love to be proved wrong and the kid turns into a top player, I just can't see it.
 
We got away with it vs Belgium but tonight has been another poor performance. Can't understand the need to go with 5 defenders when we're at home and the favourites. Also, how can he justify starting Mount ahead of both Grealish and Sancho? Both of them should have started tonight.

Square pegs in round holes with Walker starting at CB when we have Gomez and Mings on the bench, and a RB starting at LWB when we have a natural LWB in Saka sitting on the bench.

He is Definetly not world class but he should be in this team for sure. Easily the best player of his type in the squad. He has been quality for a while now he really has

I really can’t stand the man, but he is creative and better than anything on that pitch in a creative role and Southgate is guilty of not picking his best team. Maguire and Rice offer what exactly?. Our left hand side is more hamstrung than Ashley Fletcher. Absolutely frigging ridiculous team selection.

Yep, sir Gareth won’t last Much longer if he keeps these dire team selections up for me. It’s blatantly obvious Jack Grealish should be starting. Don’t get what the issue is with him, very strange

Ah well in Maguire’s case he can now run the baths for the players before the final whistle.
 
Used to be a fan of Maguire round about the time he was at the World Cup in 2018, but since he has signed for United he hasn’t become the same player and doesn’t look to have the same focus. Wouldn’t have him anywhere near an England side at the moment. No where near it.
 
England are crying out form someone to get hold of the ball and pick a pass. Grealish is the only player we have who can do it yet he thinks playing both Rice and Phillips is the answer.

Southgate is still dining out on the World Cup and needs to start picking players on form and fitness.
 
We don’t need grealish when we’ve got the likes of Declan rice playing, the current equivalent of tom cleverly - all hype!
