Nobby's Notebook -Sheffield Wednesday 📖✍️👍

Howdy Sportsfans, an abject performance from Wednesday but it was an easy choice for my Notebook entry.

The years may have finally caught up with No.10 Barry Bannan he couldn't influence the game playing very deep and gave away a daft penalty.

No 18 Marvin Johnson HARDLY got over the halfway line, I would probably still have him in our squad, not sure Engel or Bangura are significant upgrades at this point.

Man mountain No.5 Diaby and No.20 Ihiekwe battled hard at the back and actually did OK but couldn't stem the red tide..

I like No.36 Poveda on loan from Leeds, he came on in the second half and had some nice touches but he isn't consistent enough to take a punt on him.

An easy choice for me for the Notebook entry this time was the goalkeeper who pulled off a few smart saves No 26 James Beadle who is only 19 and on loan from Brighton.

Represented England at all levels upto U20

He's in the Notebook guys 👍

I haven't seen the game or watched highlights. 19 is young for a keeper but he must be good if he's in your notebook. At that age constancy is the measure.

Please don't encourage mate or we'll never hear the last of it.
I use reverse psycology - Nobby is used to being torn to shreds on here - part of me thinks he enjoys it. But praise is something his mind can't compute, so he'll spend the day wondering what the hidden meaning is behind my complement, in between sorting out his bins. I like Nobby and if he's coming down here for the Ipswich game, I might even buy him a pint.
