Some fantastic local non-league games tomorrow with lots still to play for, good look to all our local sides as they continue their battles at both end of the tables.
Marske v Nantwich is a massive game in the NPL tomorrow, defeat would almost certainly keep Marske up and relegate the Dabbers, it would also be a great wedding present for Kev Burgess who is getting married on Sunday.
Stockton v Grimsby Borough, a win for the Anchors would guarantee them 2nd place and vital home advantage throughout the upcoming promotion play offs.
Thornaby and Ashington both need the 3 points in their clash in Northumberland to have any chance of survival or winning the title, with RCA having 3 points docked this morning it brings them back into the fight, Northallerton v Pickering is a proper 6 pointer, Guisborough will be looking to end a late season slump against inform West Allotment and Redcar travel to Benfield in a mid table clash, although I expect ambitious Redcar to be pushing for promotion in 12 months if the stories I've heard come to pass. and finally if Newton Aycliffe beat Carlisle in Cumbria they'll win their first ever Northern League Title, which is some achievement given their resources compared to others in that division.
In Division 2 there's a clash of the exiles, at the Ford Hub Boro Rangers visit CLS United ahead of next weeks promotion decider against Horden CW, their erstwhile Stokesley colleagues Synners will be hoping to end a run of 9 without a win against out of form relegation battlers and the other Ford Hub team, Sunderland West End. Billingham Town will be hoping to cement their position in 3rd and a home play off when they visit improving Easington, and Redcar Town end their home season of consolidation on the pitch and turmoil off it with a game against play off bound Bedlington Terriers.
Wherever you end up I'm sure you'll enjoy the game and be impressed by the quality and endeavour on display, these clubs are the life blood of grass roots football and an echo of the connection to communities that all football clubs had at some point.
