English is widely spoken so you won't have any issues.

It's over 10 years ago when I was last there and went in February. The sea was frozen over so if it still is Ave a walk accross it. Something eerily strange about walking accross the frozen sea.

Finland is the home of the sauna near enough everyone has one in their home.

It's an easy city to get around too.

I always find this site useful when heading somewhere for the first time:

People say is Mika Hakkinen from Hong Kong? He's not from Hong Kong. He's from Finland!

I did marathon in Finland nearly 20 years ago can't actually remember where somewhere up north, but we did spend a couple of nights in Helsinki it was pretty dull tbh but we found few good bars and a mad night club with 3 rooms, Rock , Dance and Crazy where there literally were swinging of walls and dancing on the chairs they had rails dotted about from the ceiling and wall so you could swing of them it was brilliant and it opened all night it seemed, so actually had a really good time there lol. (edit we did not find it that expensive, similar to home or cheaper i think)
