Was there last week - I f had forgotten how beautiful it is - climbed the 199 steps and from the top the views were simply stunning.
I am sure they will love it.

Make a fuss of her and book a table in Betty's Tea Rooms. We usually finish or Christmas shopping of in there.

If I was wanting to go anywhere to get away from the stresses, it would be Whitby! Haven't been for a while and well-overdue a visit.

Also love York, overdue a night out there. Currently killing time in the Boro, bloody Baltic it is.

Just booked a few nights in a cottage in Whitby in December, love it out of season. If you fancy an alternative to F&C try Beckett's Coffee Shop on Skinner Street for soup and a chunk of freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries, top coffee and they are pooch friendly.

We've rented a big house there next Easter and our southern relatives are coming up to stay with us

It was amazingly warm last week but a lot colder today, 3° going to work yesterday!
