Ok so let’s be positive

For what it's worth, 'Uddersfield were two nil up on Saturday and lost 3-2 at home to Wycombe
(the gormless gets totally blew my acca).

Welcome back Zorro, you were down in the dumps at the weekend, weren't you. To be fair, I believe it is the worst game I have ever seen us play and that includes Cardiff under southgate. We couldn't string 2 passes together.

Anywhoo, I am positive we have to be better today. I would settle for seeing a reversal of recent performances and a 0-1 win. But we really have to see signs of the team... well playing like a team.

We have seen it before from Warnock, after a couple of bad games, we click again and look like promotion challengers again. The problem here is the run has gone on longer than earlier n the season, and the rut can settle in. Hence, I would be happy with a scrappy 0-1 win and a decent, fighting performance.

Would prefer a 1-0 win. We’re at home.

Atm having to muddle with the defence without Fry. If he's there we'd have another 12 points I think (Blackburn game included) he's a huge loss and would allow Dijksteel to play at rb competing with Fisher. Once the new lads bed in we'll be OK still think we'll be there or there abouts for top 6 as Bournemouth and even Reading will fall away.

At least we won't have to sit freezing our nuts off in the Riverside.

Couple of cans on the settee and the ability to turn it off at anytime.
I just can't do that, I have a ridiculous optimism. When we got relegated with Robson, all season my dad was saying we were going down, and I just couldn't see it. We were far far too good. That is the only relegation in my time that has truly shocked me.

I also think we will be around the playoffs until the last ball is kicked, however, we probably have to start turning performances in, Brentford aside we have been awful for the last, what is it 6 games.

I am trying to stay positive, I was pleased with the signings in January, given our financial plight. The injuries to Tav and Fry are hurting us imho. Our failure to land the type of striker to suit Neils system was disappointing, but tbf January is a tough window to get quality in and we did well in the circs.
Huddersfield are a funny team they do have some decent attacking players but are a bit woeful at the back. I think if the defence can get back to basics we can maybe nick this 2-1.

I would go with

Archer 😬
Fisher
Hall
McNair
Bola
Howson
Morsy
Mendez-Laing
Kebano
Johnson
Fletcher ......if fully fit ........if not Britt 😬

4-2-3-1

I'll remain optimistic for now but we're now in a very "unstable" position in the league, 6 teams below us are one result from jumping over us AND now a 6 point gap to 6th. After staying in 7th for ages despite ourselves we're suddenly needing to win just to tread water rather than move up the table. The next couple of matches are going to be pivotal, we really need to win a few in a row to have a chance of being in the playoff frame.

It`s all becoming a bit comfortably flat these days isn`t it.

Moving from one match to the next with optimism and hope.

Isn`t the same for me these days, don`t get as miffed if we lose but I`m glad when we win, mainly for those who pay their hard earned to watch.

Hope we win tonight and I do enjoy reading the content on here, you should all be commended

I just have no way of knowing whether a competent team will turn out or a bunch of strangers?

I've pushed the settee back against the wall so I can't hide behind it.

Quietly expecting a miserable 0-0 after being nudged awake by the good lady her indoors, told to go to bed and having to check the score on t'interweb.
