Old Dr. Graham’s Middlesbrough Bath Shop Closes After 220 Years

Inevitable really but sad nonetheless.

'He was able to open his first bath superstore on Rue de Linthorpe, as it was known in those days, as most of the early settlers in the town were thought to be French. Years later, invading British settlers scared off most of the French people and nowadays you will rarely meet a French person in the town.'

Early morning update.

Since reporting you rarely see French people in Middlesbrough anymore, over 3,000 French Nationals living in the town, mainly in North Ormesby, have contacted us to say they will now come out of hiding and wear berets and strings of onions so they are easily identifiable.
