I listened to a Rav interview with Bernie recently, that was done while he was at Lazio, and he was still seething about Robbo not making any subs.I still struggle to watch that and cannot believe how naive we were. Walking away from Wembley it felt like a defeat.
Yeah, although we'd have still got the points deduction.Everyone in the ground could see that two or three of our players were out on their feet, it would also have broken up the momentum that Lester had at that time.
In an alternate reality, we hang on to win, all is right in the camp, stay up easily after sending the kids out to play at Blackburn and we win the FA Cup last game of the season...
Nah, not in my alternate reality...Yeah, although we'd have still got the points deduction.

OK, I realise this isn't entirely serious and I'm probably being pedantic, but the Blackburn game was scheduled for December, so winning the cup wouldn't have made any difference even on a psychological level.Nah, not in my alternate reality...

Ok but it didn’t seem entirely fantastical, just a slightly alternative history. In MY alternate reality we played Blackburn after the League Cup final...
Pedantry on a fantasy alternate reality, only on the internet, my alternate reality, my rules!
Exactly this. Not seen the Leicester game(s) back since and like yourself have never got past the first minute against Chelsea. The others though, can't get enough.Has anyone ever watched the cup final defeats again? I have watched the full 90 of the cup win and the two comebacks two or three times each. Never seen a second of the defeats. Apart from that sodding do Matteo goal.
When I'm watching the comeback games when it gets to the end I always get nervous and think we are going to run out of time. Caught myself shouting "get it up the pitch!" at the telly once.
