Approx. 65, a few went on to have a good career

The 1st one in my time following the Boro was Malcolm Poskett, one sub appearence at home to Hull City on the 13th October 1973 & IIRC, the least number of minutes on the pitch for the Boro while playing at AP, but one Boro player that played the once, Peter Wilson, at home to Charlton on the 24th Feb 1968 emigrated & ended up captaining Australia in the 1974 world cup finals in Germany, their 1st world cup too

Fabio is the one I'd have gone for, but after that I'm struggling a bit.

I've thought of a few in the 2-3 game category: Mark Barham, Maxi Haas, Mickey Cummins, John Hewitt, Michael Debevre, van la Para....

No one hit wonders though.

Former academy player John Johnson. Name stuck in my head given it being slightly daft. According to wiki just the one first team appearance.

Spent some years playing in India apparently.

AP, Dave Winnie started a game & subbed in the 2nd half by Phil Stamp, Paul Forrester had a 15 minute cameo home to Bolton 1994

Max Hass, also the Riverside played 2 games, including a 4-2 win at Hull City, which my son & attended

I am really surprised at this Erimus. Malcolm Poskett is a name from my youth that I clearly remember. How time plays tricks eh.

I think the one challanger could be Michael Young who came on for his only appearence replacing Gary Parkinson at home to Southend, 2nd November 1991

Steve Corden v Wimbledon 1st game of the season injured never played again
Another excellent shout, he made his debut with 4 other debutees, Don O'Riordan, Gary Pallister, Gary Rowell & fully signed Stephen Pears, after 2 loan spells he signed permanently
