Orlando villa/hotel recommendations

Looking to go with family May 2023 and putting feelers out for accommodation. Any board members any recommendations? Ideally a villa as would have hire car. Initial look for 14 days coming out at ~$200 a day for 4 bedroom villa.

Stayed in davenport 2015 so doesn't have to be right on parks doorstep.

Park tickets still through attraction tickets direct?

We stayed in universal surf side hotel.. had 2 bedrooms and could sleep 6 at a push… very clean with shuttle to universal and cheap parking if you get a car..

How many are going? The few times we've been in the past we've stayed in a villa. Usually works out cheaper in the long run, more freedom, private pool, some also have jacuzzi's, quiet and secure estates and ultimately a sense of freedom that you don't get staying in a hotel. We stayed in just outside of Kissimmee every time we've been, it's close enough to all the major attractions.

Has anyone been recently? Are Perkin's diner/bakeries still open? I absolutely loved the strawberry milkshakes you get from there.
