Which means we need to keep the majority of the squad, especially a good chunk of the key players, for consecutive seasons if so.Just like in the football manager game.
More pressing, aggressive tackling and intense training.
Easily leads to injury, especially for players who are not familiar with tactics.
I remember when Klopp started managing Liverpool.
They have a lot of injury problems like this.
This is the reason that at this time or during these 2 years, we won't get promoted.
Until the players on the team start getting used to it.
But we have had signifcant back injuries, foot injuries from players that have had nothing to do with playing style.Just like in the football manager game.

Bloody hell Carrick! Don’t even think about tweaking anything!!!!
What happened as you keep on buying players though? Surely that would be a perpetual cycle as most clubs will make several signings a season as players are sold or leave, and if you do get promoted probably a huge changeJust like in the football manager game.

It is bad look. We had a good long run last year with most players available and playing week after week. I'm sure not much has changed. Not sure if this topic has already been posted, I do wonder whether there is some issue with our current training regime or the methods of players nutrition.
To get 4 hamstring injuries in one game vs Port Vale has to have more to it than just bad luck!
Thats a very good point. When we were in that patch between January and March where we were winning just about every game, and more importantly turning up looking like a side that believed they could comfortably win, the starting line up barely changed. It is bad look. So the patch between January and March next year.. when we should have all our injured players back and at least 3 new players from the January transfer window.Thats a very good point. Going tomorrow and I think whoever is playing needs massive support. A point would be a good result as it stops a playoff contender getting further away, then followed by a couple of games we could realistically get three points from even with a depleted squad. Then Jan and some early signings hopefully.
That would be nice....I did just look back at our fixtures from last year. I'd forgotten there was a month off for the World Cup which is obviously significant. We played 4 games in December, this year there will be 8. Then there were 5 in each of Jan and Feb, whereas this year we have 7 in Jan because of the cup run.So the patch between January and March next year.. when we should have all our injured players back and at least 3 new players from the January transfer window.
We’ve got some sly boosts here there and everywhere. That would be nice....I did just look back at our fixtures from last year. It would be daft not to push the window to the limit. £100m+ worth of prem still up for grabs.. two games away from a cup final..I think we'll see 3 loans in January minimum.
