Our longest current run without an away win.

I went down a rabbit hole so to speak the other day on the addictive App (Futbology), entering all the games i have been to over the years - I have been to watch us at Anfield 17 times and never seen us win. It turns out we havent won there on our last 26 visits now.

So, if it isnt Anfield, which ground have we gone the most consecutive games without a win at?

Our worst record was at Loftus Road, where up until the noughties (I think) we’d never won. Something like 28 games iirc. What about Chelsea, when was last time we won there?

Nice to see you posting on here Cheshire Boro.

Yes, my immediate reaction was Chelsea. We last won there in 1975 and we've won at Anfield since then. But Chelsea have been in the second division when we've been in the first so it might not be our longest run.

I would guess Chelsea? Off the top of my head don't we have a awful record at Southampton?

Everton?

When we beat arsenal 3 nil at Highbury under Venables it was the first time we had won there since the war.

I can't ever remember us beating West ham either.
For me our best win at West ham was 1989 when Bernie Slaven scored two late goal to seal a 2-1 away which should have gone towards our 1st division safety, we didn't get another away win after that

The 1975 Chelsea away win was indeed our last win there, is was Terry Cooper 1st Boro away game, his 3rd game in total & he was sent off
John Craggs 1st top flight goal & Alan Willey 3rd goal, their 1st away goals mind

Only one double over QPR

I was at The Dell when we beat them 3-1 in 88/89 I think? Mark Burke scored a cracker. Have we won in Soton since?

The 11v11 site is great for stuff like this, but I can't be bothered to check it out right now.

Edit - Just checked and we have won twice down there after that game in early 89. Just look how many of the players were English then!!

I forget that we actually lost at SB in '88.
A victory in every detail except the scoreline

Yes there have been some glorious defeats in our time

Chelsea 1 Boro 0 - Promotion

Boro 0 Tranmere 1 - First major Cup Final

Roma 2 Boro 1 - Speaks for itself. Progression to Quarter Finals
