It’s ridiculous
 
Fry done far to easy for first goal, he can't compete against big direct strikers, not smaller pacey lads. He is 26 now, no longer a youngster. He is part of the defensive problems imo.

The problems are all over. The first goal was a prime example. No pressure on the ball as they brought the ball out of defense. One simple ball by passed the midfield. Fry too tight on his man meant he was easily bypassed by the dummy. Lenihan was too slow reacting which allowed the pass and van berg was just asleep and just didn't pick his man up til it was far too late.

When your getting overwhelmed.. defenders get hesitant..
Don't get me wrong, they are 30% the problem, but it's 70% in front of them
