Depends if you count the promotion season for Ricard, he was atrocious and Robson playing him so much nearly cost us promotion. Was like playing with ten men.

Even in the premier league one week he was good the next he was utter turd.

Don't forget - no other player has scored more goals for us in the Prem than Ricard.

We don't seem to be able to bring good strikers through our youth system either(hopefully Coburn can change that).

I think this is something which fans of most clubs could say. Casting the net a bit further, across the north east, I can only really think of Ameobi, Carroll, Chopra and Graham who really made it in the last couple of decades after Campbell was playing PL games for us.
