If a decent bid was to come in ( I doubt it will to be honest) would you consider selling him to help
Re invest further or do you see him as a key figure? I’m not sure myself as he’s disappointed me in midfield so far and I prefer Hall and Fry at the back. Hopefully he improves.

Personally I would. He seems to have lost his way this year after an excellent first half to last season. He’s most definitely not a CM, we have enough cover in CD and he’s not the best RB particularly playing in our current system. We desperately need a decent CM and they don’t come cheap.
 
Warnock has come out and said he's not a midfielder so it's baffling that he is playing him there. This team will not achieve anything with him, Morsey and Howson in our midfield. I'm hoping we get someone in and Payero gets up to speed.
 
He's a real enigma for me. Early into the season under Woodgate it seemed we had finally found the quality box-to-box midfielder we had been craving for years. We couldn't understand why Pulis hadn't played him the season before, yet as the season progressed he seemed to lose his way.

He started last season under Warnock so well, playing as one of 3 CBs. We were talking about him being too good for this level. Don't remember him looking as good when paired with Fry in a back 4 though.

I personally would sell if we get a decent offer. Think he can be effective playing box-to-box in a midfield 3, and as one of 3 CBs but he's struggled playing as one of 2 sitting midfielders this season, and I don't have massive confidence in him playing CB in a back 4.

I thought he said that he's an average midfielder and an outstanding centre half. I don't even think he is an 'average' championship midfielder however playing average midfielders will certainly not get us promoted!
 
Would much rather have him at CB with Fry.

I don't trust Hall. Not really done anything as such as yet to prove he's a top CB for this division.
 
I recall Paddy, Dale and Anfernee Dijksteel as a three with wing backs worked really well at the start of last year until injuries interfered. Should we revert back to this?
