Displaced Afghan refugees to be forcibly re-located back to Taliban controlled Afghanistan.

UN convention on Human Rights torn to pieces in another part of the world.

What happened to love thy neighbour.

If anyone knows of any marches or protests please let everyone know on this thread. I wont be there but we might have some interested people on here.

Pakistan is a basket case of a country. The problem might go “away” for a few million quid.

Perhaps we can. I'm sure there's an existing thread to discuss this however.
I hadnt noticed.
Still, its worth mentioning.
Perhaps we can also give sanctuary to those "terps" whom we left in mortal danger - having worked alongside the British Army for all the years we were in Afghanistan?

I would guess at least part of this is based around Pashtun separatism in Pakistan, something Afghanistan has often tried to back the terrorist campaign of.

Pashtuns are the plurality of Afghanistan's population, and they're a large minority in Pakistan.

A sizeable portion of these refugees and their descendants will be Pashtuns and the Pakistani government will be using the excuse.

It's horrible treatment and should be condemned.
Obviously another thing that partly stems from British colonial rule.

Why are you continuing to derail the thread please? This is about Pakistan forcibly deporting Afghan refugees back into the hands of a despotic terrorist regime, as well you know.

Also Ex-Forces trying to dictate who should be saved, should not be surprised really….

We [The British] left those [Afghan Interpreters] who served alongside our armed forces, on the tarmac as we departed.
Without those interpreters, many of our soldiers, including special forces, would have ended up in body bags.
They worked tirelessly: went out on the next patrol, having just returned from the last - without a break.
We gave them no support and left them "back into the hands of a despotic terrorist regime" [in Afghanistan] facing death for their loyalty to our soldiers.

Any problem with the facts?

I'm aware of this fact, thank you for the reminder. I'm sure a fine discussion can be had on the wrongs of the British occupation of Afghanistan on a specific thread without derailing this one.

Not talking about "the wrongs of the British occupation of Afghanistan".
