Daft question, but arguing at work about some packaging design and I said it should use Boro Red.

Ok smartarse what number is that was the response so if anyone out there knows?
 
Can I suggest they were prob asking for an immediate response from you and you could have been well within BS rights just to make one up on the spot. Going back over 20 mins later with a poss official number , might not impress this 'fun argument' person /colleague. They may have moved on with their day 🤷‍♂️

Yup, I made up 485C. Bright red.
 
People should note. These codes are for match kit only. Your replica kit will have as many colour codes as it has washes in it's 5 wash life-cycle, and no two replica kits will have same code sequences
 
There will be over 100s of reds

When I worked for some large corporate companies and I used to order artwork there were hundreds of blues.
