Payero- he starts

Still early days ... looked lost today again, something not clicking, seems to wander around and not either winning the ball or receiving it.... hope things pan out for him in the games ahead, a relegation battle was not what he signed up for

I think the problem is developing an understanding with the players around him. Far too many times he was occupying the same space as Tav, Jones and Crooks. This is where continued involvement in the League Cup would have helped give us extra match time.

Played poorly today, but I'm starting to question the management so I'm not sure how much of the blame I'd place at his feet.

That’s because that’s HIS position yet only warnock can’t see it.

He did, so I can.

If he's playing in the wrong position, he played poorly in that position.

We'll see what happens under the next manager.
But what are you basing “playing poorly” on though as he barely got a touch as he was far far too deep.

He was ineffective no doubt about the that but that was the managers fault.

he is not morsey.

I want it to work out for him and us, but at the moment he is not really sure where he needs to be, i.e. if he's picking up a certain opposition player, or if another teammate is. The language barrier must make things really difficult. And, yes, we were hoofing the ball a lot but even on the ball he was playing the game very simply, probably afraid of making a mistake.
All a bit 'Carlos de Pena' so far

It's about finding the right system which allows us to accommodate him.

Karanka was able to do it to accommodate Tomin and Ramirez into the side. They weren't the most disciplined players but were backed up by Leadbitter and Clayton, which gave them licence to play with the kind of freedom that those type of players need. I'd place Payero in the same bracket.

He was more disciplined that siliki In that position last week. At least he got behind the ball when the opposition had it rather than a wide open midfield. Kept it simple on the ball but not much more.

Certainly no worse than howson, crooks etc.

Check out who was Mom for Sheffield Wednesday today. Had an excellent game by all accounts. Never thought I would say I would rather have Wing Saville and Morsy, but I would over the rubbish in our midfield today. They were all shocking.

Siliki was really poor when he came on. Payero did not play at all well, there is no dressing it up.
Crooks had a poor match, but whisper it Howson was awful too.
And golden child Tavernier had a stinker.

We point to off days, but there have been a lot of them this season

Warnock out?

I am stunned at the lack of shape, confidence and form.
I still want Warnock to turn things around, but I'm not 100% sure he will.
It is concerning I have to admit.

There is nothing to get behind, nothing at all. I’ve been positive since Warnocks been here but I’m done with it now. He’s got to go, as you say there is no shape and I have no idea what the plan is. It’s horrendous. We have been beaten by some poor poor teams.
