Payero

A list I read had us placed 26th of the 92 football league clubs, that is within the top third of all English league clubs. We aren’t a small club by any stretch.

Massive difference between the top six and the rest .Alot of average size clubs (small clubs) compared to the top clubs it's worlds away .Yes you could say lots of smaller clubs or average.
Woah there sparky. Average = small?

There's nothing wrong with average. Not everyone can be hung like a grand national winner.

Could scupper his boca move

Love to see carrick work with him

Why would it scupper his move?

If they want him, they'll still sign him.
I doubt a fairly minor injury would put them off.

It's mid-season for them.

I think it'd be good for him to at least have a pre-season with us though, to take away the "what if" factor for our fans.

Just wanna see payero back at Rockcliffe and see what Carrick can do with him!!!!! As its shocking if we just let him go without giving him a chance.

Hear hear

Look at Hayden as most thought he was a write off after fighting relegation at Scunthorpe to being one of the revelations of the season. So why not payero.

Not sure people wrote him off because he was part of a crap team. I think people are surprised he jumped from that level to where he is so quickly, but he was very young at Scunthorpe, a teenager.

My big issue with Payero is how will he settle and play well if he doesn’t know the language at all

Agree with what you say about Hackney. He looked promising in the fa cup game against Brentford a couple of seasons ago. However people expected better from his loan with Scunthorpe. Nobody predicted this season from him but doesn’t mean it will apply to every player. E.g Robinson at Carlisle or young Kavanagh.

One thing in Payero’s favour if he does come back is the change in style under Carrick. However he will have to give it everything. Could he play in a midfield two? Probably better in a three, but could be rendered academic if he doesn‘t return.

Hopefully Carrick can get this very small club back to the premier league
Your being a bit over sensitive.I wouldn't take one persons opinion as we all entitled to have and handle it so bad get some life experience behind you then you will realise comments like this really won't bother you.

There were glimpses in Payero's play of a strong and skilful player in the mould of a young Bale, while other games just passed him by.

I would be willing to give him another go, opposed to letting him go on free/very cheap to Boca.

To me Argentinian football is Scottish Premier and if I was a top player I would want to spend my peak years in a higher league.
