Yep, having to explain to some of my Brexit voting friends that Northern Ireland and the ROI were two different countries was a particular highlight/low-point of the referendum for me.This is the real legacy of brexit.
And people’s anachronistic adherence to nationalistic and religious divisions.Yet another pay off from England's deadly twin strike force: mass ignorance and in-built sense of entitlement.
You're right, the Troubles relived potentially, but from the other side of the fence.I am a Unionist, but a Democrat too.
It is only a matter of time before there is a vote for Northern Ireland to join the RoI.
When there is, they will vote for it.
I will be sad, but the will of the majority should prevail.
The Loyalist paras will then cause havoc on Ireland and in GB.
Well no one in the ERGNo one saw this coming.....
On both counts they should be done under the Trade Descriptions Act.Btw people forget that the full name of the tories is the
Conservative and unionist party
Both Irish Republicans and Scottish Nationalists have attempted to use Brexit to their advantage. There’s a reason Sinn Fein/i r a we’re so keen on it.
As they knew it was a defacto back door to to unity.

I wonder how different it would have been if the will of the majority of the whole island had been respected by Elisabeth the first and John Perrott. But I guess that was a while ago. Europe was always going to bügger up partition - which Blair and Mowlem understood, then with Brexit we threw ourselves right back into the clarts. And of course you could always trust Boris to make the worst of a bad job.I am a Unionist, but a Democrat too.

That's a very interesting perspective Darren. A good friend of mine has just relocated to NI (his wife is from there) and he's invited us over to visit. Growing up during the 70's I probably still have a distorted view of what life is really like; a view that is fed by numerous voyeuristic 'documentaries'."Scariest place I've ever been to?"
Wow. I've lived here for over 30 years and have never felt afraid.
The peace process isn't hanging by a thread either. The severe threat was only dropped last year, it had been in place for many years.
That's

Looks like some great hiking too!
I don't think the demands of terrorists should have any influence on a democratic process. Maybe we should force Ukraine to be part of Russia again to stop Russia's invasion. This is the real legacy of brexit.
