Penny Mordaunt voted sexiest female MP

I achieved more in one standeasy than she ever did in the RNR.

Friend has the distinction of being the only serving Member of Parliament to have captained a British amphibious assault ship. She captained HMS Bulwark, and I am sure that she was as effective a “master and commander” of that vessel as she was of this House this afternoon.”

Absolute hoss shyte. A total fabrication. They probably only stuck her on the wheel for five minutes and did a couple of alterations of course. There's absolutely no way on earth she 'captained' the Bulwark, or even acted as an Officer of The Watch.

She reported in the parliamentary Register of Members’ Interests that she received payment for service and training as a reservist only during periods between April 2011 and October 2012. From 2015 to 2019, when she ceased to be a reservist, Mordaunt recorded that “I was a Royal Naval Reservist on List 6, which meant that I had no Annual Training Commitment and received no remuneration.”

She got a load of grief from members of the Submarine service for wearing the Dolphins pin that is only awarded to Submariners on completion of the Submarine course.

I realise she probably won't win the leadership race but she would certainly be one of the best looking prime ministers we have ever had. Beauty and brains too. Penny is loved in Portsmouth by her constituents. A naval reservist and humble background being a carer for her siblings following her mothers death. I saw her making a speech in the house of commons a few years ago and her hair was amazing. That seemed to draw more attention than the topic discussed. In these dark times of duplicity, backstabbing, and cynicism around parliament, I find her refreshing. ( from a male viewpoint) I think the Debbie Harry thread has set me off!

Loved by her constituents? Not too sure about that, Sky news were interviewing in a pompey gym yesterday and none of then knew who she was!!!
