People who slurp their hot drinks...

Asian culture love to do this...a sign that they really enjoy the food stuffs they consume. So all those looking to head off to North Korea soon -- you've been warned-- lol.

For some reason this thread reminds me of a sketch on Not The Nine O’clock News with Rowan Atkinson and Mel Smith. It was the charge de fair one. Was very funny at the time!

I was just about to write that my Mrs can chomp bloody water, and slurping soup bloody hell! Yes, she is Asian, noticed it more in lockdown.

Have had my nose badly broken on a number of occasions. I’m a very noisy eater and drinker. Extremely self conscious about it. As a result I prefer to eat alone. I slurp tea, and sound like a drey horse when eating. It’s awful

perhaps you should have been born Asian mate or just as good had an Asian partner — you’re celebrated for being a noisy eater within the Asian culture — but ot have your nose broken over it is outrageous.

It’s great when you live alone . I can basically do what the f##k I want , when I want , how I want ! 😎

Mrs Chickenrunner says I chew yoghurt and compares my swallowing of drinks to 'sump pumping'. Nonsense of course. :giggle:
But nothing will ever compare with a jaw click whilst eating ............... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh:mad:

That's one of the biggest negatives about this working from home lark - the people in the office who slurped drinks a couple of desks away from you, now do it directly on the call in front of the mic.

There's a guy I have daily conference calls with who does it, and I want to reach through the screen and pour the boiling water over his stupid head.
