People you have stopped to ask directions or other help and realised they are a Celebrity.

It always interests me when every day folk meet celebrities when going about there every day life..me and the other half were driving around Northampton in 2002 looking for the Premier Inn. After half hour going round and round I suggest we ask the next person we see. This smartly dressed fella in a suit and brief case was walking along the pavement and as I pulled over and lowered the window my missus mumbled to me without moving her mouth that it was Tim Brooke Taylor. Indeed it was but instead of saying excuse me Tim or Mr Brooke Taylor I just said excuse me mate do you know where the Premier Inn is..Anyone else had a similar experience.

That's a pretty niche ask.

I've said "excuse me" to Mick Jones as we were both looking in the same estate agents window, and we swapped over the half of the window we were looking at.

Graeme Sharp (Ex Everton and Scotland striker) asked me the way to the Riverside in 2017. I think he does the Maddo role for BBC Merseyside!

I was once having a wee in a Urinal then someone else decided to come in and wee at the other side of the urinal, both finished at same time washed hands and then realised in the mirror it was Colin Cooper.

Any celebrity everyday interaction stories are good to be honest. Anybody got a famous person in there phone contacts for example .

I asked Chubby Brown if I could use his pen in a bookies in Blackpool back in the 90's, he had Rudi's Pet each way on his slip (can't remember where I left my car keys 10 minutes ago but can remember this?!?!?!

Went to Frank Bruno's wedding and I used to know Lindsey DePaul and Martin Kemp. Met Benny Hill a few times, he was pretty much a recluse at the time. I have also had several chats with Dustin Hoffman. Of that list only Dustin Hoffman and Martin Kemp were genuinely nice.

Oh I used to play football in a 5-a-side league with Brian Cox, who is also a really nice fella but will tear into you if you spout scientific crap.

Mrs Fufkin used to have several fairly high profile numbers in her little black book back in the day when she worked in the film industry in NY, Weinstein being one of them as she worked at Miramax for a time, Kristin Scott Thomas, Julia Sawalha, to name a few (we have a lovely hand drawn, signed (by all 3 ) sketch done by Jennifer Saunders hanging at home as a gift from when my wife headed up the team that launched Ab Fab in the US). She was once allocated a seat next to Keith Richards at some red carpet award thing and yes, he was every bit as bonkers as one might expect

I however, have none!

Did he know?

Richard Hammond came into the comms shack on the Illustrious asking to make a satellite phone call. Scruffy little get who looked like he hadn't had a wash in weeks and I promise you on my kids lives, his hair was matted.
Same event for Anthea Turner when she was on board... But she was clean, tidy and very lovely.
Victor Ubogu - we invited him to HMS Liverpool during the Dubai 7s. His reply?... "WTF for?". Colossal ****.

Page 3 girls came on the Ark Royal danni from Coventry was miserable as sin but Nicola T was an absolute darling. Friendly, chatty and really pretty without a scrap of makeup.
