Perth Goes into Full Lockdown

I don't understand. Is she defying the lockdown in Perth then?
What don't you understand? A week or two back she was full of bluster about defying restrictions if she lived in the UK and now, hey presto, Perth is in lockdown. I've no idea if she'll follow the rules in WA.
In the UK this has been a long haul, we might be tired, cheesed off, worried about our livelihoods, let down by our government but the majority have accepted the collective responsibility thrust upon them and are doing as they have been requested. Oh and we've largely grown out of this sort of ridiculous behaviour, good job the virus wouldn't start spreading until after 6 p.m. Sunday  ........................................

I didn't realise she made those comments pre-lockdown in Perth.

Wait, I thought Australia was the shining example to follow?

Australia is a shining example.

They control all entries to the country very strictly and really only under exceptional circumstances are you allowed to enter if you’re not a resident or citizen.

Even then you have to quarantine in a hotel - No exceptions

Then if in spite of these restrictions the virus is discovered the clamp down hard on it.

Then life returns to some sort of normality for those resident in the country

What’s not to like
