Pigeons

We have sparrowhawks nearby and they help keep the numbers down. I thought we had pigeons nesting in a bush in our garden. 2 days later there was a pile of feathers and a few bones on the lawn.
We also have a Female Sparrowhawk (slightly bigger than the male and not as colourful) in the garden but even she's got her hands full with this lot.

The home the mother in law was in had a falcon decoy to scare them off similar to the one below but the pigeons use to sit on its head.

The cars are absolutely covered in pigeons sh*t, we have the bird whisperer woman in a house out back and she feeds the bl**dy things so the nest close by and the cars appear to be on the flight path. I don't know what she feeds them on, but the sheer size of their droppings is terrifying.

Wish I still had my BSA Airsporter.

There's no need for violence Mr. Fish. They're just pigeons and I don't want them dead. Funny that you should mention airguns. I was about to mention them on the 'Weird Things That You Were Into As A Kid' thread. I had loads of the bloody things. The Crosman pump up pistol was the most difficult one to hide from my parents, because it was huge. I hid it behind the books on my bookshelf.

Looked out of the window the other morning and a fat arśèd crow was sat on the car with a pile of twigs in its gob. Kept putting them down and picking them up again, pecking the shît out of the roof. Spent 6 hours clay barring and polishing that two weeks ago, just no respect. Other than that, there’s obviously an issue with Teradactyls round here judging by the crāp all over the front door.

I'm getting a bit sick of this. Seems like every pigeon in Norton has decided to treat my back garden and my garage as their shag palace. I have nothing against pigeons, but it is pretty annoying when I'm in the conservatory, and every time I look out of the window there's some filthy pigeon orgy going on outside. I feel for the female pigeons. The bloke pigeon just hops on, flaps his wings for a few seconds, and then he hops off again and goes to sleep. I don't think that the female pigeon gets much out of it TBH. Is anyone else having similar pigeon issues?

Not me personally but I'm sure that my wife can identify with those female pigeons.
Thank god that she doesn't read this forum, I would have a new nickname for certain.

🎵John's got brewer's droop
He gets intimidated by the dirty pigeons
They love a bit of him
(Parklife)
Who's that gut lord marching
You should cut down on your pork life mate
Get some exercise

All the people
So many people
And they all go hand-in-hand
Hand-in-hand through their parklife
Know what I mean?🎵

What did you use to clean ?
I used the wire brush for the moss n weeds between the bricks, took a while but satisfying then I bought 6 litres of cheap bleach and mixed in watering can about 1 to 9 mix with water, soaked paving and give it a good agitation with brush and let it dry then soaked and rescrubbed then once dry I brushed sand and cheap salt in to fill the gaps back up… hopefully keeps the weeds down..
Bleach seemed to clear Algae and lichen white spots off..

Back of house smelled like a fresh lav for a few days 😂

When I worked in Stockton town centre the pigeons used to s,h.it on the 2nd floor outside window ledges
So they put 'pigeon guards' on them
After that the pigeons sat on the 'pigeon guards'to s,h.it on the outside window ledges....
