Play Off Away leg - ticket info due early next week

Birmingham had 4,500 at Coventry at the weekend.

If it was them (I think it will be as don't think we'll beat them on Monday) then hopefully we get a sizeable allocation.
I've a feeling they'll cut that right down to allow more home fans in.
Probably end up with around 2k away at each game.

I think I might start 'an away ticket needed thread' now so I can get in early. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Which one should I go with - I've been a member of this board for years, I just don't post or my son is coming over from Mars and would like to go. ;)

It's almost certainly not going to be Blackburn... pretty impossible.

We'd have to win heavily and they'd have to win heavily to get 5th. Then you've got Millwall, Sunderland and WBA too.

Would have got a good chunk there, which is a shame.

Same with WBA really.. would have to be some big GD swing and specific results for them to get 5th.

Millwall, Sunderland or Coventry.

Millwall and Sunderland will definitely be 2,000 at the most. Coventry the only one where we might get more, but you're right.. they'll want as many home fans in won't they.

I have suggested to them on Twitter that they could do a pre-sale of 2k tickets as no way are we getting less than that. Then if we get more all good but have to be collected.

If we do a pre-sale then they can send them out as soon as they get them in the door.

I imagine I will have to either pick up on the morning of the match if I'm getting a coach or pay for next day delivery. Of the realistic options Coventry is probs the only one I would drive to from York.

Millwall will be a nightmare.

No train gets you to London in time for KO on the Sunday morning... and there's a train strike the day before!

Had a look.
Reckon you can just about make it, going overland st pancras to London bridge.
But only if trains turn up and run to timetable.
So yes Millwall would be a bit of a nightmare.
Coventry not great either. Trains can't get you there in time.

They were moaning about their allocation for the last match at our ground on the Coventry forum, I doubt we will get over 2000

Aye, Coventry I can drive to. If it's Mackems or Millwall it will be club coach for me. Unless the trains to Sunderland are better than last time but don't see them finishing 5th.

I suspect we'll get 2,000 and that'll be it.

Why would any of the opposition teams give us more than the bare minimum?
It's an advantage having more fans, and I'd not blame any of them for keeping it down.

It's unlikely that the home fans wouldn't snap up the extra tickets in a big game, even at the likes of Blackburn (who I very much doubt will make it, and certainly won't be playing us if they do).

I did look at the lowest we would get, but as a lot of posters have mentioned that is the likely total. Even if we got say 3,500 it will be a mad scramble and the tight timelines will make it worse. Will the club run 2 hours slots say 10am-12 for 240 points 12-2pm for 220 points 2pm-4pm for 200 points 4pm - 6pm for 180 points.
