Play offs

Cannot see us in the playoffs, not enough goals in the team to get us there. We will get thumped off Bournemouth. May be next year if we spend well.

I'm starting to think we might miss out, but it's still entirely in our hands right now.

Win our next 2 and we'd surely be one of the favourites to make it.

Easier said than done, but we tend to play better against the better teams.

Other teams will have a slip, too. Hopefully, this is our last one.
Training tomorrow will be tense, given how wilder was talking after the game.
No doubt a few home truths have been metered out. A good kick up the ar.se might be enough to get them going again.

And we play better against teams that have a go at us.

won't make the playoffs, simply because we don't score enough goals and that's why we can't stay in play off position for more than a few days, and can't see that changing. 7th or 8th is where we will finish. Seems about right as well given what we have. It is as it is, let's be realistic.
Still great that we are looking upwards rather than downwards, and the future looks bright. Next season I can see us really in contention, firmly in top 6, even higher.

Still in our hands (just) but we're too light up front, probably need even more ordnance to make up for the keeper, but this season's a free hit for me and if we make it then great, but we'll defo be in contention next season given we all know what needs fixing.

You never know, couple of good results, others suffer a blip, waltz into Wembley, win off it going in off Yates' backside, sorted ;)

Yeah, miss out. I had a feeling we'd get 0/12 out of Fulham, Hull, Bournemouth & Huddersfield. Assuming we do that then I think the others will have pulled away.
That's some feeling to get on the back of a 4-0 away win at Peterborough.

Hope you put a bet on, you'd have got great odds.

I didn't fancy Fulham, and I thought it would be typical Boro to lose to Hull. I don't fancy Bournemouth or Huddersfield still, so it wasn't that much of a stretch to think we'd get 0/12. I didn't put a bet on.... although I guess it would have been worth it.

(Obviously I'm still hoping to be very wrong, and we get 6/12)!

If we stumble into the playoffs with inconsistant results i think we will lose it. But if we build up a stormn winning run we will have an excellent chance.

I am never realistic about the Boro.

I think 70 or 71 points will be enough.

I don't think we'll be able to stumble in with inconsistent results now, we'll need 4 wins out of 6, I'd say.
