I like thisI have no doubt we will get promoted.
Or a manager with Wilders history of 4 promotions.Ask yourself this do any of our playoff rivals have a front pairing as bad as Connolly and balogun.
And we play better against teams that have a go at us.I'm starting to think we might miss out, but it's still entirely in our hands right now.
Win our next 2 and we'd surely be one of the favourites to make it.
Easier said than done, but we tend to play better against the better teams.
That's some feeling to get on the back of a 4-0 away win at Peterborough.Yeah, miss out. I had a feeling we'd get 0/12 out of Fulham, Hull, Bournemouth & Huddersfield. Assuming we do that then I think the others will have pulled away.
I didn't fancy Fulham, and I thought it would be typical Boro to lose to Hull. I don't fancy Bournemouth or Huddersfield still, so it wasn't that much of a stretch to think we'd get 0/12. I didn't put a bet on.... although I guess it would have been worth it.That's some feeling to get on the back of a 4-0 away win at Peterborough.
Hope you put a bet on, you'd have got great odds.
I am never realistic about the Boro.won't make the playoffs, simply because we don't score enough goals and that's why we can't stay in play off position for more than a few days, and can't see that changing. 7th or 8th is where we will finish. Seems about right as well given what we have. It is as it is, let's be realistic.
Still great that we are looking upwards rather than downwards, and the future looks bright. Next season I can see us really in contention, firmly in top 6, even higher.
If we stumble into the playoffs with inconsistant results i think we will lose it. But if we build up a stormn winning run we will have an excellent chance.
