Poor Liz Truss was thwarted by the 'Deep State'

Did not challenge yaxley-lennon/Tommy Robinson being called a hero by Steve Bannon while she was there , but retains the Tory whip

Bannon played her like a fiddle or she agrees? I think she is a bit thick and, like Sunak, cannot respond to anything off-script.

Pmq's might be fun if a bit wasteful today. I can see 3 questions on racism running wild through the tory party where not one question is repeated.

She seems like an ideal front person for the deep state, no clear moral compass or principles based on common good. They probably got ***ed off with her when their deep state pension pots went t*ts up and devalued by 10-20% just like millions of others in the UK , through her and her chancellors basic school boy errors in drafting a budget up which was based on extreme viewpoints to appeal to her parties nutters rather than draft it on sound economic insight,

That PMQs in full:

Starmer: Liz Truss Liz Truss Liz Truss!
Sunak: Yeah but Jeremy Corbyn Jeremy Corbyn Jeremy Corbyn!
Starmer: No Liz Truss Liz Truss Liz Truss!!
Sunak: No No Jeremy Corbyn Jeremy Corbyn Jeremy Corbyn!!
Electorate: Just feck off the pair of you.

Tories win again

This is what they want this is the game plan

Don’t fall for it.
I think I'm ancient and hackneyed enough to realise that Starmer, for all his manifest faults, is the only alternative to the present 5hitshow. I'll vote Labour despite their disgraceful non policy on Europe. But performances like today are likely to reinforce the too prevalent view that voting is a waste of time.

But that is the game plan there only hope is apathy and peddling this we are all the same is at the heart of it. It’s not even smear politics now it’s almost scorched earth.

I’ve heard people say it on the streets on the bus in the office oh they are all the same.

It’s a worry esp as idiots like farage fill this vacuum

Are you saying that it's wrong for the opposition to ask questions about Truss's maniacal appearanceat the CPAC and apparent support of Hero Tommy Robinson and Deep State hyperbole?

It seems you are saying the opposition shouldn't be asking those questions of a senior high-profile MP and former PM in the governing party, which seems a ludicrous stance to take.

You are right no the "Jeremy Corbyn" responses though, they are irrelevant to the questions posed by the leader of the opposition.

What I'm saying is if I was visiting food banks like thousands are in this country, and I was wanting those responsible to be held accountable for my plight, I'd wonder what the hell that spectacle had to do with anything.

They’ve asked question about foodbanks too, so I’m not sure what your point is

I didn't think I was being that obscure. The point. Opportunities to hold Sunak's feet to the fire are rare enough without squandering one attacking someone who is actually Sunak's sworn political enemy. And on the back of last week's parliamentary bin fire, perfect grist to the 'they're all the same' mill.

It’s impossible to hold him to the fire because he never answers anything.

She might be his political enemy but she’s also a great example of how fractured and thus ungovernable the Tory party is…thus calling out his failure to hold her to account is highlight just how weak his position in and how broken his party is. Truss comments are absolute bonfire stuff, It had to be called out and it was. Sunaks response was predictable but also showed him up
