When we completely bottled our promotion attempt in the last month last season I thought to myself it won't get any easier next season with even harder clubs competing in this division. And here we are. A worse start we couldn't have imagined, no goals scored, and four conceded.

When Akpom expressed his love for Boro a few weeks ago I thought here we go again, the kiss of death. Loyalty for some players is easy to express until the smell of more money is made. Why have photos taken wearing a 'Boro shirt and lift the fans expectations when all the time he knew he was leaving. Its the kids I feel sorry for.

Meanwhile we have the continuation of the ? tokenistic gesture, otherwise known as 'Taking the knee.' Many describe this as 'Virtue Signalling' and carried out to help players to feel good about themselves.

Whilst at the same time some are applauding themselves for this noble gesture other footballers here are happy to take large amounts of money from Saudi Arabia and other gulf states with an atrocious human rights record.

Best not to take the knee there lads - their interpretation of 'taking the knee' is far more gruesome than over here!

This countries football has never been as inclusive as it is now. Wish we could just move on and play the game.
