Will you be raising the Millwall relay issue?
I think we have to try and forget it now as shocking as it may have been.
Does anyone ever remember a relay at Oxford's old Manor Ground in the days of Robert Maxwell. Again it was kids racing around. I just remember it was the longest relay ever and these poor young kids were slogging their way around the ground no doubt presided over by Maxwell high in his director's box like some Roman Emperor. What stands out for me even now was the abject cruelty of the PA announcement - "and just 4 more laps." FOUR... MORE. Maxwell might as well have opened the gates to the lions.
I miss the days of signings announcements via a press conference

Has MC got two plans for the game depending on whether the formidable Ayala has decided he's had enough time off and its not really xmas still ?
Half time, on the pitch is the only way to do it. Peter Davenport style.
Unfortunately A66 Darlington bypass was closed by police so I got diverted through Darlington and missed the start by 2 mins. So frustrating.
