Preston fan rates the away support at Deepdale this season

Good that. What’s this “limbs” he was talking about? Is it going mental when you score- bouncing, dancing, throwing your arms about?

Never heard the phrase before.

Great film that and a good lad producing it.
I'd have similar observations at our place about most visitors.

The largest away attendance to us was Forest at 2,141. We took more than that to half the league; Derby, Blackburn, Coventry, Blackpool, Sheff Utd, Hull, Peterborough, Birmingham, Barnsley, Preston, Millwall and Huddersfield; we also took about the same to QPR.

Only one club had a higher home attendance against us than we had against them at The Riverside - Sheff Utd. Almost 9k more.
Only one club brought more supporters to The Riverside than we took to their ground - Forest - and even then we sold our allocation, they didn't.

I think only promoted and cheaper ticketed Forest, and cheaper ticket Sheff U and Derby averaged more at home than us. T obe fair Derby's was very good.
Nobody averaged more away and when mileage is factored in, nobody touched us.
Support can and will grow with some success, but even last season our support was very good.

Good recruitment and trading this summer will see our crowds average 25k and even bigger away attendances.

Our crowds are on the up, both home and away.

The Preston fan probably didn't realise we sold out 2 weeks before the game and they may have been nothing to play for.

He needs to create another category excellent.

I can see Sunderland having some big away followings - its a long time since they were ever promoted - it will be like Winter turning to Spring.
