I must have dreamt the protests when the Police and crime bill was tabled.

Never , am i ever likely to go on a protest , no .I take it you never read the article then?

You may have read it, but it's pretty clear you seem not to have understood it. Perhaps if it hadn't been written in a multi award winning paper (voted by their peers), you may have found it less like hard work. Have you ever benefited from anything achieved by being able to protest? Purely from a personal perspective of course.O I read it ,though i do find the glib / woke /liberal elitist /hand wringing Guardian hard work at the best of times , i suppose you look at these things from a personal perspective , have i ever been on a protest ? Votes for women ? I would imagine our lass would be hell to live with without female universal sufferage .You may have read it, but it's pretty clear you seem not to have understood it. Ill give you that one , without The Chartists i would never have had the opportunity to have voted Tory at the last GE or had the pleasure of Mr Johnson as PM , glad to see you are all grasping the difficult subject of democracy at last .What about votes for you, universal male suffrage. Perhaps the Chartists should have been more selective in their demands.
