Pubs around Whitby

Staying in the Raithwaite next Saturday and looking for somewhere to watch the match and have something to eat the Sunday.

Anyone have any recommendations?

The Whitehouse next to the golf club do food and have a TV in the bar.

The Buck Inn used to have Sky. Not so sure now mind.

I'd recommend the Little Angel but we've also been to the Fisherman's club to watch matches (they usually charge non members £1/£2 to get in).

The Fleece (over the bridge and bear right) used to show Boro games, but I've not been over for a few years now.

When I lived in Whitby you'd be lucky to see a Boro game anywhere, 90% of the locals supported Leeds. Plenty of Boro fans in the villages though.

Luckily the Leeds game is on right after the Boro
