He did, although with the albeit grudging recognition that at least he had his own song.

He had two songs. There was the two unlimited song also. Poor lads like viduka and mad frank had none.

He played in a Champions League Final with Liverpool after he left us, so i'm not sure his answer will be yes to the second part of that question.

He had a bad injury the season after he left us while we got to the UEFA cup final. He might have wished he could have stayed another year. It was the following season he played in the CL final. He never really got the chance to play in the position that he did so well in for us either, he was always out wide for Liverpool. He didn't actually win another major trophy after he left us so it might not be that black and white.

Would have loved to see more of Zenden. That season we finished 7th was some of the best football I've seen us play and if it hadn't been for injuries to key players like Boateng, Mendieta and Viduka then it could have been even better.

Yeah agree we could've finished higher than 7th and we also missed those players when we were knocked out by Lisbon. Apart from right back we were real quality in all positions. Probably the only time in my 30 odd years going to games that we've regularly bossed top flight games, away from home too
