At least there is something to keep us interested, aside from the World Cup.
Some interesting fixtures.
No matter whom we support - its a slightly anarchic thread.
But who cares?
I predict a win for the Magpies / Owls / "U"s
v Dons and Brewers are equal on points with Forest Green [14] at the bottom of League 2. Burton have only won 3 of 19 games, whilst Dons have won 4.
v In the National League, 17th place York take on table - toppers Wrexham, who lead Notts County by a point. The Minstermen have lost 4 of the last 5 and drawn 1. In contrast, Wrexham have won 4 and drawn 1.
v In League 2, the Rams in 8th place, take on the Owls in 3rd and 11 points above them. Rams have won only 8 out of 18 and sit above Port Vale on goal difference. Wednesday have won 3 out of the last 3 league games, winning by the odd goal in each game.
v Pools are firmly anchored to the bottom of League 2 on 12 points. Having only won 2 games out of 19, conceding 34 goals in the process, its not difficult to see where the problem lies. 13 points above them - Stockport appear to be having a season of consolidation, so today is not looking good for Pools.
v
Second bottom of the National League, Scunthorpe continue their slide through the leagues from the Championship. Notts keeper Matt slocombe is a Scunthorpe lad, but will have to put his connection on the back boiler whilst Notts hope to bouncew back to the top of the league. Notts have taken over 1600 fans today and expect a win.
